Significant Contributions
Established the Master of Science in Marketing Program at the Department of Marketing, Chulalongkorn Business School, Chulalongkorn University in 2006. The program has provided higher education for graduate students in the fields of Retail Marketing, Service Marketing, ICT Marketing, and Marketing Management. At present, the program has been developed into the Master Degree in Marketing and Branding (MBM) having both Thai and English Programs, producing approximately 600 marketing graduates to different areas of businesses in Thailand.
Initiated the Adjunct Professorship of the Department of Marketing to teach and share branding knowledge for students and faculty members. The first foreign Adjunct Professor from Japan joined in 2008. This initiative made a significant movement toward the internationalization of the Marketing Department.
Launched the Global Knowledge Development in collaboration with Dentsu Inc. Japan in 2009. This project was the initiative to improve the subject of Seminar in Marketing which was the capstone course for the 4th year Marketing students. This project could equip students with modern marketing and branding knowledge. The collaboration continued for over 10 years providing great students’ performances.
Initiated the "The Development of Students Capability in Marketing Research Project" from 2017 to 2019 financially supported by Chulalongkorn University’s Center for Learning Innovation. This project enabled marketing students to work and present their research at national and international academic conferences. This project successfully assisted students to publish their research in international journals in SCOPUS’s index.
Initiated the event ASEAN and Thailand‘s Top Corporate Brands to announce the corporate brand values of Thai and ASEAN registered companies in the Stock Exchanges from 2012 to the present. The valuation is based on the Corporate Brand Success Valuation which is the original corporate brand valuation in Thailand developed by Guntalee Ruenrom and Ake Pattaratanakun from Marketing Department Department, Chulalongkorn Business School, Chulalongkorn University.
